About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial and residential construction projects across our tri-state service area. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- •Oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- •Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- •Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients throughout project lifecycle
- •Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- •Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications
- •Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- •Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving issues proactively
- •Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- •Manage procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
- •Prepare detailed project reports and documentation
Qualifications
- •Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- •Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- •Proven track record of successfully delivering projects ranging from $2M to $20M
- •Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- •Experience with retail, hospitality, or commercial tenant fit-out projects preferred
- •Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
- •Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- •Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- •Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites in NJ, NY, and MA
- •OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- •PMP or CCM certification is a plus
