About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on construction experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• •Supervise all field activities and manage on-site construction crews
• •Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations
• •Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship
• •Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to plan daily operations
• •Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks
• •Maintain detailed daily logs and progress reports
• •Identify and resolve construction issues and conflicts in the field
• •Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
• •Coordinate material deliveries and equipment logistics
• •Communicate project status and issues to Project Manager
• •Ensure proper documentation of as-built conditions
• •Manage punch list items and project closeout activities

Qualifications

• •Minimum 7 years of hands-on construction experience with at least 3 years in supervisory role
• •Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods and best practices
• •Experience with ground-up construction, tenant fit-outs, and renovations
• •Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination
• •Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• •Excellent leadership and crew management skills
• •Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• •Experience with hospitality, retail, or restaurant construction preferred
• •Proficiency with construction management software and mobile tools
• •Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• •OSHA 30 certification required
• •First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• •Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
